Time: 9 am to 1 pm each day
For Ages 11-14
$349* per child, includes lunch and 5 items to begin your Jr. Chef knife kits.
$499* per child for registrations after April 1.
The outline includes:
– Kitchen safety, including fire safety (prepared in collaboration with the Erin Fire Department, Hillsburgh Station.)
– Understanding food groups (protein, carbohydrates, etc.)
– Manners & Etiquette, Serving skills
In addition we will be having our own version of a CHOPPED CANADA COMPETITION, right here at Fan/Joy!
Parents are encouraged to come for lunch on at least one of the days as the students will be preparing and serving the meals.
This class may be covered under extended health benefits.*
